Basic Artwork Requirements & Rules

  • The anatomy of the tyree must be followed for artowkr to count towards xp. See the anatomy guide for that information. Some wiggle room for stylization is fine, but not so much that the traits start to look less like a tyree or more like a different trait within the breed that the specific tyree featured does not possess.
  • No edits or art traced directly off of a reference will be accepted for group xp. If you are unsure what is an edit, see our little guide below.
  • The tyree must be colored/ recognizable as that specific tyree in any artwork.
  • All art should be submitted to #art-submissions in our discord

What is considered an Edit?

An Edit

Creating the lineart directly off of the reference would be considered an edit and therefore would not count for xp.

What is Allowed

Tracing the general anatomical shapes like this is allowed and not considered to be an edit, so art pieces created like this would still count for xp.

Literature

Basic Requirements & Rules

  • All literature must feature the tyree in a significant way in which they play a part in the story actively, not just mentioned in passing.
  • You may not include sexual nsfw content, but minor violence is okay as long as you put a disclaimer on your submission.
  • These stories must be created for the tyree originally (no AI, adapting something you’ve written before, etc)
  • Must be a minimum of 100 words to count for xp and should not exceed 5000 words within the same submission. If your writing exceeds this limit, please make multiple submissions to split it up.
  • You may have creative freedoms and add any fantasy or like spins to your stories, feature non tyree characters, and write from any point of view. We love to see creativity!

Xp Values

100 words = 1xp (rounded, e.g. round up if 150 or over to 2xp and down if 149 or under to 1xp)

Bonuses: (not rounded, must reach the specified interval to earn xp)

Backstory- 1xp/ 100 words

the writing dives into the story behind your tyree and gives them or explains their character lore

Dialogue- 1xp/100 words

This story includes dialogue between characters. Must be more than one occurrence, but should be seen throughout and must include the tyree.

Plot-line - 1xp/ 100 words

This story continues a present plot line for the tyree and their life as it develops.

Handler- 1xp/100 words

This story includes the tyree handler in some significant way

Expressive- 1xp/ 100 words

This story is written stylistically to convey more things like symbolism, the mood, emotions, etc. This is writing that has been given a lot of time and intention, more than the writer would usually give.

Submission Directions

To submit a literature piece, write it using  google doc, sta.sh, or another program that will allow you to send a link to your writing that anyone can access. If using a google doc, please be sure to set permissions to let anyone with the link view the document. Then, follow the given format pinned to the #lit-submissions channel and it will be processed by a moderator to be uploaded to the tyree’s official TH profile and Xp totals will be updated.
